Lutheran Family Services provides affordable, accredited immigration legal support to refugees, immigrants, and asylees.
Their staff includes DOJ-accredited specialists and an immigration attorney for deportation/removal defense.
Services cover: family-based petitions, permanent residency, citizenship, travel documents, NACARA (Nicaraguan and Central American relief), Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases.
They assist with applications through interviews, including at USCIS naturalization interviews.
They also offer wrap-around support such as case management, help with housing and basic needs, cultural orientation, and services for trafficking survivors.
Offices are located in Omaha, Lincoln, and <a href="https://www.importami.org/en-us/services/10318" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grand Island</a>, with sliding-scale fees and multilingual support.
