The Advocates for Human Rights offers free immigration legal help for youth under 18 in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota who arrive without parents and their eligible sponsors.

Services include deportation defense (help in immigration court), asylum (for those fleeing danger), Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (for minors abused, neglected, or abandoned by parents), U visas (for crime victims), T visas (for trafficking survivors), and VAWA relief (for victims of family violence by a parent with legal status).

They help clients understand their rights, prepare applications, and refer to other free or low-cost attorneys when needed.
