Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) gives free legal help to low-income people in Boston and 31 nearby towns. They help with civil (non-criminal) issues like housing, immigration, jobs, family law, and disability rights. GBLS mainly supports people living in poverty, elders, people with disabilities, and immigrants. You must have a low income to qualify. Their team includes over 70 lawyers and 20 paralegals. They fight for basic needs like safe housing, protection from abuse, and fair treatment at work.
