Mid-South Immigration Advocates (MIA) in Memphis is a nonprofit immigration law firm that provides free or low-cost legal help to low-income immigrants in Tennessee, northern Mississippi, and Arkansas.

They handle cases like asylum, green cards, citizenship, deportation defense, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and visas for survivors of crime, trafficking, or domestic violence.

MIA also offers “Know Your Rights” presentations, consultations, and advocacy with agencies like USCIS and ICE.

They focus on serving vulnerable groups such as unaccompanied minors, survivors, LGBTQ+ immigrants, and people with limited resources.

Services are mainly in English and Spanish.
