Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) is a legal services organization, recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), that provides low cost immigration legal help across Los Angeles County. Their legal team assists with removal defense, asylum, naturalization, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewals. Consultations are provided at low or no cost.
In addition to legal support, CHIRLA offers community education, legal clinics, Know Your Rights workshops, and citizenship and civics classes in English and Spanish.
