Central American Resource Center (CARECEN-LA) provides low-cost and free immigration legal services in the Los Angeles region. Their legal team helps with asylum, deportation defense, representation for adult detainees, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (for minors who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned), U Visas (for crime victims), T Visas (for trafficking survivors), adjustment of status, DACA renewals, and naturalization assistance (for those seeking U.S. citizenship).

There is no charge for consultations in most cases and no fees for DACA and naturalization services. Fees for further legal assistance are low and discussed during consultation.

CARECEN also offers non-legal programs such as citizenship and civics classes, day labor center services, and community advocacy. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Their offices are located in Los Angeles, Van Nuys, and San Bernardino.
