The YMCA of Greater Houston is a nonprofit organization that provides community and immigrant services.
Its International Services program offers free or low-cost immigration legal assistance to unaccompanied migrant children, helping with asylum applications, adjustment of status, consular processing, DACA, employment authorization, family-based petitions, T visas, U visas, and VAWA petitions.
They provide legal counseling and case-by-case representation tailored to each child’s situation, as well as additional support such as post-release services and social adjustment assistance. Services begin with a consultation to determine eligibility and next steps.
Counties served: Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, and Waller.
