Adults (EN).png

A safe adult is someone who you can trust to listen to you and help you when you need it. They are responsible and caring, and they want to help you be safe and happy. Some examples of safe adults are:

‍👩‍👧‍👦 People in your family, such as your parents or sponsor, grandparents, aunts/uncles, adult siblings or cousins,

👩‍🏫 People at school, such as teachers, coaches, tutors, counselors or

🤗 Other adults in your life to whom you feel comfortable talking.

It's important to have a safe adult to confide in because sometimes you might have problems or worries that are too big for you to handle on your own. When you have a safe adult to talk to, you can share your feelings and thoughts with them, and they can help you find ways to deal with the situation. They can also keep you safe and protect you from harm.

🤝 Trustworthiness: Safe adults are trustworthy and reliable. They keep their promises and are honest with you.

🤗 Respectful: Safe adults respect your feelings, opinions, and boundaries. They listen to you without judging or criticizing you.

💖 Caring: Safe adults are caring and supportive. They are there to help you when you need it, and they show that they care about you.

💬 Good Communicators: Safe adults are good at communicating. They listen to you when you speak and explain things in a way that you can understand.

🦸 Positive Role Models: Safe adults are positive role models. They set a good example and help you make good choices.

Having a safe adult in your life can also help you feel more secure and supported, which can be really helpful when you are facing challenges or trying to achieve your goals. Safe adults can give you advice, encouragement, and love, and they can help you be your best self.
